Not an "official" wrapping day today but I am off to Mum's to wrap the stocking fillers. We have about 14 stockings to fill so hopefully will be done today and will have an idea if we need to purchase anything else.
Lol, all the time! I keep pictures of everything I buy on my phone because I can’t remember things. I put name tags on everything as I wrap (unless I get distracted).Have you ever wrapped a present, put it away, and by the time you got the wrapped present, you did not remember what the actual item was?
Just a friendly reminder that we have a double wrapping weekend set for this coming Saturday and Sunday. There are a few days still scheduled so no need to panic just yet. Use the time to make a list or two or do something to make the lead up a little easier.Saturday and Sunday November 7th and 8th......a double party so we can get a few things done.
I am still waiting on announcements too. I have seen nothing about the library's food drive and I am not sure if other festivities will go ahead. Not sure what we're doing this year for the veterans home, there won't be any type of gathering like the party last year but I haven't heard yet about gift giving.
I find it hard to wrap Christmas gifts when we are in October/November. If I put on a Christmas podcast or some Christmas music, it makes it easier to get get motivated and be in the Christmas spirit.I've not started any wrapping yet and I honestly can't say why i dont know whats happened. Im going to do some this weekend though. I'm going to do the stuff for relatives I hope. I always use brown kraft paper or fat quarters and I have them all ready. Just need the motivation
LOL! Ah, yes, I should have also mentioned that a bottle of Christmas spirits can help with the motivation too.Yesterday I spent close to 13 hours making advent calendars and wrapping. I never want to wrap another gift again...
Except there's still some left to do. I might crack out a bottle of christmas spirit (baileys) to help me get through it.
