This is very wise. I certainly hold more stock on hand than I did previously. I do think I will 'struggle' with food insecurity for a while yet. You hear of people who hoard food after the great depression, I think I will be one of those.

I am still shocked by the shortages even 4 years into Covid19. Every week at the supermarket there seems to be something that I cannot find.

I would start buying it now and storing it in the freezer. There is something comforting about having the things we need on hand.

Got back into routine last week, it always takes me a while though. I am so glad that I am mainly on routine most of the time, it means when things go off the rails it does not take too long to get on track. A rainy week ahead here so a good time to continue preparing the house for Winter...

Isn't it great to have made a start. We think we have so much time and then bam Christmas is almost upon us.

DH took a ute load of plants, linen and a book case up to the farm. I have decluttered the dining room hutch and donated quite a bit to the next church fete.

Jampss, hopefully the months ahead are not unbearably hot. I do enjoy the milder weather.

The more I think of it the more I like the idea pf Mary's weekly meetings. I am considering doing this for DH and I when we retire so we know what the week ahead looks like for us both.

Have packed a box of items to send to DS. Still need to box up and send up his books and then I think most of his is gone.
