I am going to be watching A Christmas Story for January Rudy Day.

I bought it over the holidays, but didn't have time to watch it.

Would that one be OK?

I kept waiting for my family to sit and watch it with me and we never did. Rudy day will be the perfect time to watch it. Oh, it is a Sunday, I can watch that then Downton Abby

I had this movie recorded on my dvr, but accidentally deleted it, will have to find it online on Rudy day!

Maybe I'll try watching it again...and see if I like it more this time...LOL I just haven't been able to get into it much, but I will look it up at the library and give it a shot.

For those of you who don't have "A Christmas Story" on dvd it is available on YouTube. I haven't ever seen the original movie so I'm looking forward to it.

For whatever reason, this is a movie I've never been able to get into. I watched it once years & years ago & never wanted to see it again.
Maybe I'll give it another shot, just in case my humor buds have changed.

Christmas Movies

So, I'm not sure if Jan 2015 movie was The Christmas Story or Christmas with the Kranks. I watched the first one last year for the first time ... hmmmm. Not my fav. I also watched the Kranks for the first time, too. That was funny.

So, what is Feb?

Where does the time go? Only 11 months, 334 days, (47 1/2 weeks) left until Christmas.

I did watch A Christmas Story and although I wouldn't consider it an all time favorite I'm still glad I finally saw it. It's like a part of Christmas history. Considering when this movie was made I think the scene set for sitting on Santa's lap was simply beautiful and creative. I've always wondered how this leg lamp became part of Christmas and now I know. LOL

Now, back to the Rudy Day business at hand. I finally got DH's stocking put together and sewn and got his initials to attach to it. I hope I can work on mine this afternoon so that I can put them both up with my Christmas décor.
