What are some fun things you like to give trick or treaters besides the traditional candy? Any clever creative ideas? Please share them!

One year I bought a bag of Mini Playdohs. I kept those in the bowl with the candy and gave those out to the really little goblins that came to my door (preschoolers mostly) who aren't really old enough for candy. I"d give them two colours.

I always add halloween stickers.

Oriental trading has TONS of stuff-like halloween bouncy balls, pencils, putty, pencils. You could be a halloween scrooge and give out toothbrushes!

A few years ago our local Zellers started carrying mini orange and black inedible 'treats' for Halloween.

Things I have given out since:

pencils

Pencil toppers

silly putty

glow bracelets

bubbles

stretchy skeletons

bouncy pumpkin balls

spider rings

I would save Happy Meal toys or other little misc toys and gadgets I'd receive throughout the year and then I'd give the kids a choice of a toy or candy.
