:friendly: I so love Turkey Day! I have my eye on a new charger plate, and a turkey lifter for this year.

A turkey lifter, what a great idea. Never thought about it so I googled it.

this looks worthless, unless the turkey isn't cook enought to fall apart, hopefull it will never be in stock, lol

this looks like you could parts off an old packback but says it made of silicone

these might work but you'd still have to be strong and steady

I like this one the best

I've been searching for something new to try for Turkey Day. Not one thing caught my eye. I figured I'd just make the Dark Chocolate Pumpkin bars again (for about the 5th time).

Tonight I figured I should put recipes away that I had laying on my desk. They were either ones I've made in the last few weeks or new ones I've printed off. The last recipe was for turkey rolls-ups that I made for July Turkey Day. When I went to put it away in my Thanksgiving Notebook I noticed the Crock Pot Pumpkin Pie Pudding recipe on the back!!!!

I am so stuck on this recipe. It should have about 10 million stars next to it. And this from someone who does not like pumpkin pie!!!

Thank you christmascreations for posting that recipe! Guess it's a re-run for me this August Turkey Day.

Maybe I'll find a new recipe for turkey. If not I'll be making Hot Brown Sandwiches. It's a heavy sandwich for August so I might have to turn up the AC to pretend it's winter. There are several recipes online. I might try Rachael Ray's this time.

Arkansas-Go Razorbacks! Whoo Pig Sooie!
One of my favorite secret vices is the fact that I love the horse races..and Arkansas' track has a great meet every spring. In addition to the best corned beef sandwiches in the world, they also have a fabulous Hot Brown!! Thanks for sharing!

Sorry for not being more active on with Turkey Day coming up tomorrow. Monday morning my dd (brain injuried) decided to leave the house without telling me. The cops picked up her safely but we have her in the hospital for a medication check for a few days. I'm busy running back and forth to the hospital, to court or taking my parent to the doctor's. Everyone is doing ok, but I'm worn out.

So happy early Turkey's Day to everyone!
