Canadian Posters: Classic Christmas Film

Here in Canada, I am SUPER excited about the Christmas installation of the Cineplex Classic Film Series! The original "Miracle on 34th Street" is playing at major centres December 9 & 12, 2012. Check out cineplex.com for local listings.

I have seen "It's A Wonderful Life" and "White Christmas" in this series the last 2 years, so this is another wonderful old film I can't wait to see on the big screen.

They haven't officially released the 2012-2013 classic film schedule yet, but if you go to the Cineplex site and search one of the theatres showing the series, the drag-down date menu goes all the way to December and shows the films between now and the end of the year.

Aug: Singin' in the Rain
Sept: Sunset Boulevard
Oct: Dracula/Frankenstein (1931)
Nov: Lawrence of Arabia
Dec: Miracle on 34th St.

Just read on the Cineplex website- Dec 8th is one of my FAVOURITE Christmas movies- Bing Crosby in "Holiday Inn". Don't miss it, Canadians.

They did something similar to this in our area last year - I'm hoping they do it again!

They showed a different classic Christmas movie every week in December. I know they did It's A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story but I can't remember what the others were...
