My magical party philosophy "plan them early and plan them often...."

Valentine’s Day:
Children’s celebration: The children will make Valentine’s for Mum & Daddy and for each other. I will paint a branch white and let the children cut-out hearts and pits of ribbon to tie onto the branch, and place it in a vase on my sideboard. We will make and decorate heart-shaped cookies and make a Valentine’s munch-mix and punch and celebrate with a Valentine’s day tea – heart-shaped jam sandwiches and warm cranberry juice served from a tea pot.

Table for two: After the children are tucked into bed, my husband and I will share dinner by the fire. I will set a table for two with a lace cloth, my best china, and crystal goblets. For the centerpiece I will set pink pillars ablaze on top of a mirror, and sprinkle rose petals about for effect. I will serve sherry with out soup course, a Bordeaux with the main course, and round the evening off with a champagne cocktail. The menu will be:
*crab bisque with heart-shaped croutons
*Caesar salad
*double-stuffed potatoes
*filet mignon
*lemon-coconut heart-shaped cake :lucky:
