Here we are, our last day of Put it on a Shelf. Today we are going to talk about how to wish those cute little elves goodbye. There are a lot of different ways you can do this.

Elf Good-bye:

Again, you can choose to have your Elf leave whenever or however you would like. We choose to have ours depart on Christmas Eve with Santa. We put him under the tree, and he’s gone in the morning. You could leave a letter like when he arrived or a small gift to say goodbye. It really depends on your audience. You could pull a last minute grand prank if you are dealing with adults. Here is a link to a site that has a free printable for a goodbye letter: https://www.makelifelovely.com/elf-on-the-shelf-goodbye-letter/

You can also find lots of good stuff on Pinterest!

Ours always leaves a letter. Not every year but once in awhile he appears before her birthday (that is 1-25 )so some years he has came for Easter to check in or just whenever a fast flay by. Some years none.

Dollar General came out with the helper elves so I got a set of them last year.

Ours leave after Christmas, but kids are grown up so they get put away at same time as Christmas decor.
Same here. He gets put away when the tree comes down. Goes in with the ornaments.
