Countdown to Christmas 2024.

My countdown is shorter this year. Looks like we will be doing Christmas the Saturday after Thanksgiving. DS(32) will not be home for Christmas or New Years. The 2 that live out of state said they could come so that will be our plan. Location is to be determined. I am hoping my kitchen will be under renovation.

Was in hobby lobby today and they are already starting to put some stuff out. Wow!!

When you think about it they are putting out supplies crafters and to start making items for craft shows, YouTube, etc. So it isn't to early. I was at HL and saw Christmas fabric... good to know if I wanted to sew a Christmas Quilt or make on the the fabric books for DGD.

HL here has wreaths out, and fabric but they do not have any crafts out yet or ornaments. Back in summer alot of empty or low stock in which is where they put it. I was looking for possible wrapping ideals so saw craftes weren't out. That was about a week ago tho.

I honestly think (would like) the Christmas crafts should be out all year!!!

My HL had ornament, greenery picks, and the guy I said "Bless You" to was hanging garlands

No signs of anything here just yet. I normally catch a glimpse around late August / early September, early enough for people to purchase to post overseas. I get a little pinch of excitement when I spot the first Christmassy item.
I did though see some 'ugly sweaters' in a department store for CIJ.

Speaking for my local Michael's - Lots of cleared shelf space and July 4tth stuff is all on sale and almost gone but not Christmas yet.
