Hello!

This evening (17th) I made 9 quilted hearts.

Have to wrap my CIJ ornaments.

Last week Ryan and Allen cleaned out the sewing room about 95%. Hoping to get more done soon.

What are you working on this week?

Happy Happy Crafting!

Started a crocheted blanket to use up lots of wool that I have. Will donate whatever I make to the church. A good way to use up wool and they are quite quick to make up.

So, I had crocheted up some socks with yarn from my friend. It said Merino Wool. I thought it also said cold wash and line dry. I did that. They shrunk. Can’t fit my foot in them! LOL I can donate for some child’s sock now! LOL

jampss ~ I wouldn't think those socks would have shrunk. Too bad! Did they "felt"?

I need to do some serious Craftermath control (clean studio) this week and stitch up a couple of kitchen boas for my DSisILs before we leave for the family reunion on Thusrday (reunion Saturday-Sunday). I'll also kit up another knitting project to take along. The reunion isn't my side of the family, so I envision myself knitting while the relative reminisce. I should try to make up some more quilted hearts to take also.

I got some felt squares at Michaels (we do not have a Michaels around here, stopped on our way back from my parent's house) - I picked all 11 squares they had left in gingerbread color. Also got myself a new sketchbook with a lovely leather look... hum.... might keep it to add to my Christmas gift... or not ;)
This week will be mostly writing down ideas. Next week have I am off (or should be) so I'll plan some things for then

I have the textured cards to hole punch and put on book rings and I will have the dgd's Christmas gifts finished. I would like to find Raggedy Ann book for Violet for her birthday. January 12.

The craftermath control project has resulted in DH and I putting up a wallpaper border on the kitchen soffits with the wallpaper I uncovered; my discovery that I only have 4 more woodland animals to cross stitch (thought I had 7 more to do); and my shortening a curtain to replace the one in the hallway that the cats clawed to shreds. We no longer have cats so this curtain is safe. And I'm about done with the craftermath control.

Jampss, I’m surprised the socks shrunk too! Cold water is always my go to for anything wool.
Finished the purse set for the rescue raffle. Need to do some major clean up before I do anything else. I make a horrible mess all the time!

MM - Beautiful!
I was not able to get the supplies I needed when went out today. I did spend about 3 hours in the craft room. I went through several bins. I still have another area to clean, I keep ignoring it. It has the stuff that I need to make decisions and they will be hard to make. I just have to get my strength gather and go quickly and get it out of the house.

Another crocheted UFO done yesterday! I have another one that I'm not sure what it was meant to be! I might just rip it out.

May use some $Tree scarves to cover old throw pillows.

I finished the textured cards for Violet. Didn't find the large book rings I have been looking for so used small ones until I find them.

I was able to cut out some ornaments I can sew in the car and at DS's next week. I just need to kit it up and put it in the inside car tote.

With having to take care since my toe surgery I have been sitting and crafting. I cut out several more ornaments today and did the hand sewing on quite a few. I have about 25 put aside to do while away next week.
