Crafters Challenge Nov. 27th-Dec. 3rd

Next week the end of the challenge will have us into the month that we have started preparing for. Well, of course there were the b'days, weddings, and showers that people made stuff for along the way.

This past week I did 13 of the square glass holders with the epsom salt, 64 reindeer feed (had a 6 yr old helper with that) got some more material for more necklaces. Had such plans to get more done but with the nephew and his family here from Texas and then his brother and wife from here would come over with them I just didn't drag the stuff out. I love seeing them and was surprised how much they were here. They stay about 2 miles from us with my ex BIL. So I didn't get stuff done on vacation like I thought I would.

This week I hope to finish decorating the inside and when I am off Thursday I hope to know where I stand with gifts. If nobody swaps up my plans!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to work on the ornaments for family and friends this week.

Everybody have a PRODUCTIVE crafting week and I am waiting to hear what you are all working on.

28 Christmas ornaments to trim, blanket stitch and embellish.
24 pine cone door hangers to ribbon and embellish.
13 bath salts jars to label and decorate.
48 apple butter to get cooked, jarred, labelled and embellished.
Rosemary oil jars to get cleaned and prepped. Labels to be made.
Christmas pictures to finish, Christmas cards to finish.
Ornaments to mend, tree to trim.

SIGH.

UPDATE 11/29
hot glued greenery to the pine cones last night until I ran out of hot glue. It's on my list to buy.
Finished one pine cone hanger -- then I realized I was out of the narrow ribbon. Will look tonight for more.
Apple butter labels printed.
Bath Salts labels printed.
DM's present (lap quilt) done and wrapped and ready to mail this weekend.
DBF's present (memory board and table topper) done and wrapped and ready to mail this weekend.
Appointment for DGKs Christmas picture made. Clothes are cleaned and ready to go.
28 Christmas ornaments trimmed. I've got to find the red embroidery thread to blanket stitch them because the red crochet thread is too thick.

Update 11/30
completely finished six of the pine cone door hangers. I have ribbons and bells on the last four, but now I'm out of greenery. So tomorrow I'm back to the dollar store for two batches of greens I can cut apart to finish the hangers. Tomorrow night should do the trick.
Got the shiny gold thread to sew embellishments on quilted ornaments. Got shiny gold embroidery thread to blanket stitch the ornaments.
Got the buttons and mini bells to embellish the quilted ornaments.
And...got sensible and put the other six projects I was considering off until next year.

Out to Dollar Tree for greens to finish up pine cones.

Last week I finished all my candycanes. My crafts to put in some Christmas cards are finished too and this morning I finished my advent calendar! woohoo! What I needed done this year is done. I can still do more, but if it comes to worst they can wait next year.

I'll put up a picture of my advent calendar in the community section in a few minutes

Working on 8 more glass things, also have 15 more pasta ornaments painted gold so have to put the decoration in the middle. Need to do some more CD ornaments.
