Well, this month is about 1/2 gone!!!!

I am hoping to be done with the swap items (or very close to it) by the end of next week-end. Planning on doing the main cutting of them all tomorrow and then maybe an assembly line to a certain point.

But then again Teigan needs to work on her Halloween thingy to put candy in for her classmates.

What do you have planned for the week?

I'm planning on taking the scarf I'm crocheting for DD for Christmas with me on the plane. I"m an early riser, so I'm thinking I can work on it on the lanai each morning, if I'm up earlier than they are.

Want to work on my rug.
I met someone last night that actually knows how to use the embroidery soft wear I bought right before Covid! She is in the Sunday school class my husband teaches. Hopefully she can get me up and running.

I just need to make the label for Sonja's Storm at Sea wall hanging.

I'm kitting up a CCS motif for Valentin's birthday card.

After some craftermath control in the studio, I will decide what to focus on next. I have a few projects for Christmas to work on!

Appliqué pieces are stitched on the rug. Was going to get it sandwiched to quilt. Wanted to spray bate it but it’s raining.

I finished the CCS Christmas house. I just need to frame it and it is ready for the gift closet.

This morning I finished kitting up the CCS motif for Valentin's birthday card. I've just about completed the label for Sonja's Storm at Sea wall hanging as well as the cuckoo clock ornaments for grandchildren. I think I made good progress today!

Last night I sorted the gems for my 2nd diamond painting. Today I will start on it - 2 Christmas gnomes.
I have seen some of these advertised on Facebook. They look amazing.

Yesterday I got started on finishing the CCS the woodland animals hangings. It's a several-step process using my embroidery machine for the first step and my sewing machine next, then some hand stitching to close up the turning opening. The motifs also need to be trimmed down and then sewn onto the backing. The hand stitching and the trimming are good activities to do in the evenings while watching TV, although last night I ended up reading instead of watching TV.

I edged my CCS with pinking shears and attached it to some green felt before framing. It looks good.

Greetings!

While cutting back the CCS woodland animals, I cut two of them back too far. OOPS! I'll have to re-do some of the stitching near those edges.

I finished Sonja's Storm at Sea wall hanging. I hope she likes it. It was a fun project.

Finished my rug, went much faster than I anticipated. Husband was busy working on Sunday school stuff so no interruptions.
Its called Oh My Gourd!

I'm seeing such nice work here!

This week I've been focusing on the finishes of the woodland animals CCS motifs, making them into hangings for a calendar for Valentin. I've nearly finished the fabric backings so that the motifs can be sewn onto them. I just need to hand stitch the turning openings closed.

And somehow along the way I finished the four cuckoo clock ornaments for the grandchildren.

I've updated some of my projects on my blog.
