Well, we are one week into the new year!

I finished one small slip cover for the weight thing.

Recopying my list of some things I would like to do this year.

For 2011 I would really like to make alot of the gifts again. I just love to make and give homemade items to people, whether it is food related (mixes, or already made), holiday items or something they can use year round.

I have a mental list started so will list some.

1.) Thread catcher for mom, Miranda, Jaymee and myself (maybe my friend in Iowa)

2.) Snowman pillow Miranda~~~~~~~~~~~~DONE

3.) Bubble Light for my friends in Iowa and mail it to them before Thanksgiving

4.) Coasters--sets of 6

6.) Have the pattern for the table runner so will decide who I would like to do one for

7.) Need to think of the item I would like to do for the 12 Days of Christmas so if they have it again

8.) Need to get some vanilla beans to start more vanilla for next year

9.) See if Jaymee likes that material for a tree skirt or not for her tree

10.) See if Ryan and Jaymee want me to do them a stocking for their house or get their own ( I think his aunt got them stocking kits to decorate them one~maybe)

11.) Quilted Scarf make one for myself and decide on if any for gifts

More ideals will come~~but these are ones I am thinking now.

12.) fabric bowl covers for gifts

Today I am going to sew a few slip covers for the weight thingy we use in the drawer for the drive up. Would like to get the first 2 or 3 done.
We need:

1.) winter theme one~~~~~~~~~~~~ DONE 1-2-11 Snowflake material

2.) Valentine's Day~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DONE

3.) St. Patty's Day~~~~~~~~~~~~~DONE

4.) Easter~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DONE

5.) Spring~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DONE

6.) 4th of July~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DONE

and maybe

7.) back to school

Today i'll be cutting my apron pieces because I just haven't made myself sit down and do it. So my goal for this week will be to get it sewn.

Jampss - I'm exhausted reading your list. But, I think it's great that you posted the pattern links because some of the things sound like things I'd like to take a look at and maybe make myself.

For this week I plan to finish knitting one of the 5 baby blankets I need to make (4 of the little darlings have already been born!) and maybe start another.

Also finish one more wristlet and get started on a pair for myself.

Debbie

Oh, I don't want to exhaust anyone ... it's my "Wish List" to do. Whether I actually do it all is another thing! LOL

Love your signature, Debbie ...

I am getting ready to head back into my room but I just printed out instructions for hair scrunchies and a cup/can cozy. I wanted to do some hair scrunchies for my 2 nieces and 1 great niece. Will have to add those to my list.

My idea of crafting this week will be hitting the thrift stores to find old plates, candlesticks, egg cups and such to start on cupcake holders for Randas sweet 16 party

I got my apron pieces cut out. Now I need to start assembling it and sewing. My goal for this week will be to at least get it pinned together, if I get it sewn that will be an extra bonus.

Sounds nice Tricia. I have received a couple of the wonder wallets in swaps and would like to do them. Size of a debit/credit card and snaps shut. Good for insurance cards etc. Has like 3 or 4 slots.

Jampss - I'm a FL girl too and love to crochet! And "yes", it's been terribly cold here this winter. Just no snow.
