Since I have access to a computer tonight I will post the challenge! It has been since April that I have did it. My computer is still in the shop! It has to get out by CIJ!!!

How is everyone doing on their crafts?

We are busy busy outside so crafts are kinda on back burner :(

Hoping you will all post what you have been working on for the past month. I am sure several of you have completed some projects.

Keep on crafting we are down to about 203 days!

My DGD and I have made some smiley cards, we also completed(she did 90% of the work) a draw string bag and have 2 more in the works. It's been too hot to do much tho.

Finished 1 wine-cork ornament. Since it was very easy & quick, DH drilled holes in remaining wine corks (about 20). I'll do these but it is not an emergency since it is so quick to do. I do have to get more beads with big holes in them too.

I posted a pick in 'community photos' on the board

I'm glad you could pop in, Lana. You have been missed.

The past month was fairly productive for me.
1. missionary support at my church ~
made 18 little fabric totes for other ladies to add final touch
hand hemmed a large baby blanket

2. TLL baby charity group of Ohio ~
hand hemmed a little bereavement blanket
resumed embroidery of a quilt top

3. Ahh, yes, and for Christmas ~
assembled first of three sets of little plastic canvas alphabet blocks...
spells Merry Christmas on one side, Happy New Year on the reverse

Goals for June
create final 6 little fabric totes
hand hem one large baby blanket
finish the embroidery on the quilt top
assemble second set of little Christmas alphabet blocks

Have a crafty/stitchy month everyone. Remember a little bit each day or week reaches your goals.

Since I've been traveling alot (and not driving) I've been doing alot of knitting and crocheting. So far I've finished:

one scarf for DNephew who is graduating from HS and going to Brown
another scarf
1 pair of wristlets

Currently working on:

knit scarf
crocheted long wristlets

I brought a bunch of yarn with me and just hope to use it all up making little scarves and wristlets and hats - then I'll decide who to give them to.

While the weather is cool I will finish crocheting rugs out of wool that DH nana gave me. I have made 6 rugs since the beginning of the year to give to nursing homes. Been doing a little bit of mending as needed. Knitted some dish cloths and some little face pads for DD to wash her makeup off with. That is keeping me busy for now.

GREAT JOB EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

Sounds like some good progress has indeed been made.

Last Tuesday night I made about 17 ornaments. It is a very easy one and one I like to put on packages or such.

With Christmas in July coming up more ideals for crafts and food gifts will be coming!

Glad to be back!!!

HI Lana:
GREAT having you back here!

I have been organizing some embroidery projects to begin working on out to the equestrian park while I am on duty. I found some simple cotton dish towels at KMart and I plan on embroidering something Christmasy on the bottom and then edging them with red fabric. They will make nice additions for my Christmas baskets. I love doing redwork!

Have a crafty day today!
