Fake snow?

I have a 'natural' themed tree. Lots of birds, birdhouses, pinecones, etc. But I wanted to add snow to the tree.
We get a live tree and last year I tried that craft snow, but it dried out the branches. I've tried the canned snow, but it didnt work. Also, the bag of flakey snow made a huge mess !
Any suggestions?

Ive heard of a few people using cotton batting for snow.. Dont know if that would work for you. I'll try to find the pic online I was looking at and post the link.

Great photo! I think the key is not making it too thin - so it doesn't look like cobwebs! Good luck :flower:
