First day of singing bees....

... and my son said they were singing Rudolph the red nosed reindeer and White Christmas....LOVEEEY IT!!!!

They are supposed to perform at the Frosty Festival the school holds annually. I don't remember them performing at the other ones so this will be the first year the singing bees will be performing at the FF. I can't wait!!!

aww, I remember how we used to have to start preparing in September for our Christmas concerts at school. We thought it was so exciting! Eventually they had to cancel them because it became politically incorrect to mention Christmas at school. Even when it was changed to "Winter Concert" and they removed all songs referencing "Christmas" it still offended some people.

I'm glad some schools are still able to hold these kinds of holiday concerts. I like the name Frosty Festival.

Are the singing bees a choir? At first I was thinking of spelling bees but with song lyrics.....
