Good deed for Christmas 2012 - Mel & Steve thread

Morning!

After all Mel & Steve have been through (and let's not forget our Pam), I was thinking of sending them a Christmas card with a little something in it. I will not be doing a package (postage would cost alot from here and I prefer they get the $$ than the post).

I'm sure a few cards per week in the weeks leading to Christmas will be good for them and will help them out.

I'm waiting for Pam's confirmation of the address and will post it in this thread. Anyone who feels like it can send a card with whatever in it, even just a nice word would be appreciated I'm sure.

I know Jessica, Lisa, Diedra, Jane, Ellen & Lana have said they would send something. Anyone else who is interested just go right ahead and do your thing.

I like the idea very much and want to send something but if I am not being rude could you tell me the story of what has happened to them-are there children-if so what ages and what sexes are they-if you feel you can't tell me-that is ok I will still send-just thought if I knew I could maybe send presents also-thanks

Woman others will have to help me with some of the details somewhere there is a thread w/ details. There are two kids not sure of ages. Last yr Mel had weight loss surgery. A few months later there was a follow up surgery and she has been in and out of the hospital s/ different complications since then. It has been a huge emotional, physical and financial strain on them.

We will send a card with something in it. We're a 1 income family so it won't be alot. But as I always say everyone doing what they can, no matter how big or small makes a BIG difference. I KNOW this from experience.
