Who here would give this a try this year?

How to:

* plate/platter
* Foam tree from craft store
* Lettuce leaves
* Star shaped cookie cutter
* Toothpicks
* Assorted fruits: kiwi, cranberries, grapes, strawberries and melon

1.
Cover foam tree with lettuce leaves and place on plate or platter.

2.
Make melon stars with cookie cutter.

3.
Place fruit on toothpicks and insert into foam. Magical and edible!

Those are really pretty. I've seen this done with truffles or meringue cookies too. I love the build a gingerbread man game on that site too. I think I know what our elves will be doing tonight.

I love the mini pound cakes!! Too cute..and I have mini fluted pans, I think! I am going to make those for our office party at my house next week. Yummy!!
