I don't know if we had any. Because our town only allows so long for trick or treating and we were out with DGD...

Yep 120! Usually around 105-110. I made 120 treat bats and all are gone. I had extra candy aside in case but didn't use it.

We go out w/ the kids so i don't know. Our neighborhood is pretty big so we didn't even go to 1/2 of it and i know I saw well over 100 kids. I am sure those that did give out candy had a lot.

I don't have a number either. But we had a fair turnout. We're in Denver and one year it can be beautiful and the next a foot of snow. So they kids were able to walk around, without coats and it was awesome sitting outside waiting for the little ones.

Fluttering happily in the clouds!!
DH was in charge of the donations, while I went out with DD. He was underwhelmed this year - still had LOADs left. So probably about 40 overall. Other years are loads more and there seemed to be loads around.

One neighbour had so few calling, that she sent her son around later to us offering to give away candy (so that she wouldn't eat it!) and the kids in the house (there were 9 at that stage) were delighted, while the grown ups (7) had a great laugh! (#1 normally hosts houses #2, 3 and 4 after T/Ting, for the kids to run and let off steam, while the grownups have a civilised glass of wine!).

We didn't hand out any, but that's because we were out with our children and when we got home, we sorted the candy and went to bed (school night)

However, I thought this was kind of sad...my husband teaches in a really really wealthy neighborhood, and he has a couple of facebook friends that teach and live in the neighborhood...they were a little upset because they said there were TONS of people coming that DID NOT live in the neighborhood...she said they would unload by the van fulls!

She went through EIGHT LARGE bags of candy in an hour! Come on...trick or treat in your OWN neighborhood or go to a trunk or treat...but just because it's a wealthy area, people showed up by the van loads!

We had the most ever--15. I was surprised we had that many but there are more kids in our growing neighborhood.

Holiday mama, that would suck. I wish I always had more trick or treaters, but I don't want them by the truckload. That's wrong!

In the last ten years, our neighborhood has EXPLODED with kids! Last night was a beautiful, warm evening.... AND.... we live near a BIG attraction. Some years ago, a neighbor mounted an old bike wheel on a board.... and created a "Spinning Wheel". Candy bars of all sizes are arranged around the board.... and there is always a GIANT candy bar to aim for! Last year, the "wheel"had over 300 kids! We live right around the corner from the wheel.... and we got at least 180 kids last night. I always know we will get lots of kids... and I start buying candy as soon as the Halloween sizes appear in the stores in September.

We participated in trunk or treat at our church (and won one of the 1st places) and we had maybe 40 there. Here at the house we had about 15. We shut it down about 8:15 and went out to grab a bite to eat. Our neighborhood is not very trick or treat oriented. Most people just turned out their lights to detract the children. Kind of sad.

Probably around 30 or so. Sometimes it looked like 3 parents were escorting 1 kid with the groups being exponentially larger:)

Personally I don't see anything wrong with taking the kids to trunk or treat. Around here the churches do it for whoever wants to come. I've seen all different income levels at them. Personally I get more frustrated with the pushing and shoveling of some of the kids esp when they almost run over the smaller children.

We had a lot of kids being dropped off by vans. We're in a pricier area, though not really our street. The houses are really close together though, which I think attracts the kids....more candy in less time. We had about 180 kids, so at 8:00 DH just turned out the lights and said, "we're done." I try to keep going as long as there are little kids around, but once the kids coming are bigger than me I don't feel so bad calling it a night!

I just moved to a new neighborhood and bought a couple of bags of candy just in case. I had ZERO trick-or-treaters. And my thighs are not happy about that. :) Got a lot of leftover candy to get rid of somehow.
