Is anyone planning to celebrate Harvest/Fall? Last year I hosted a Harvest theme dinner party which turned out great. I made some masks for everyone to wear and made crackers using fall color wrapping paper as party favors. This year I've decided to invite the family over for a Harvest breakfast. I've set the date for Sunday, October 12th.

Here's my menu:

Eggs (any style including omlettes)
Ham
Bacon (Regular/Turkey)
Sausage (Regular/Turkey)
Pancakes
Waffles
French Toast
Grits/Oatmeal (Instant packages)
Cream of Wheat
Fried Potatoes
Biscuits
Apple butter
Fresh fruits
Baked apples slices
Orange juice
Tea
Hot chocolate
Coffee
Munchkin donuts from Dunkin Donuts

As you can see it's nothing special. Just the kind of things we normally eat.

I'm still working out details. I want to add something special to the gathering although us all being together is good enough for me.

Sound fun, I have had Boxing Day brunches before, and they turned out well.

My boys love the Apple Cinnamon Cream of Wheat!
