Holiday Ham--don't use the oven

I love ham in the crockpot! I think it's the meat that cooks the best in the crock. so full of flavor!

Just don't cook it too long. I did that the first time and didn't care for it to much.

we cook the christmas ham in the crock pot but it's true don't over cook it. I have but when I do it' right, yummy.

oooo, I think I am going to try it. I have two smaller hams: I can put the larger one in the crock while I am at church, and the smaller one in the over. Now, I need to get some pineapple juice. YUM!

I agree I love ham in the crockpot. That was my main criteria in buying a ham for this sunday that it fit in the crockpot.

I have a big ham in the freezer that my mom gave me after Christmas but it's too big for the crockpot. I might have to get a smaller one just to try this. I like good ham.

I am definitely trying this ham recipe for Christmas this year! For Christmas, I usually cook a turkey and a ham, so that will help free up the oven...sounds yummy! Thanks for sharing!
