Our first Rudolph day of the year! Hope you enjoy my picks.

Book:
A Christmas Memory by Richard Evans.
I honestly have not read this yet. I have been told by friends it is excellent and highly recommend. It’s about loss, grief and forgiveness.

Movies:
Finding Father Christmas (2016) Hallmark Movies and Mysteries
Engaging Father Christmas (2017) Hallmark Movies and Mysteries
Marrying Father Christmas (2018) Hallmark Movies and Mysteries
We watched these for the first time in 2022. Miranda travels for Christmas to search to find her father. Bonus: Husband really liked them!

I was searching for information on planning ahead for Christmas and these 2 articles popped up. If you are like me, you find yourself saying yes when in reality you want to and should say no.
7 Things It's Okay to Say NO to This Christmas
It's Okay to Say No This Holiday Season

This is a great way to recycle cards (any holiday). If you didn’t want to make magnets you could add a hook for hanging.
Wood Slice Christmas Magnets From Cards

Another Modpodge idea. This would be perfect to use up scraps of wrapping paper.
Decorate a Christmas Tray (Last Minute!)

Cute gift for little ones.
The Sleepover Pillowcase: Tutorial

A great way to use up fabric or recycle old clothing. If you are getting rid of old Christmas themed clothing this would be a good option.
GIFT WRAPPING WITH YOUR FABRIC STASH - UPCYCLE AND USE UP YOUR SCRAPS TO MAKE BEAUTIFUL GIFTS

If you haven’t jumped on the band wagon of freezing Christmas cookies or cookie dough as part of your Christmas prep you should! Such a great time saver as we get closer to Christmas. Actually it’s great to have fresh cookies available any time of year.
How to Freeze Cookie Dough

This is not Christmas but-
I found watching this the days leading up to Christmas to be so relaxing. They are not reindeer but I would get lost watching and forget about all the things running around in my brain. An easy opportunity for a few moments of self care.

Amelia - I've always loved the MP site. I think I will do a holiday tray using old (but beautiful) cards.

My son likes to watch the deer trough site. I didn't know about it. He showed it to me about a month ago.

I renewed my library card and checked out the book. I do like the author and have read several of his books, not this one though. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Happy Rudolph day!
Snow storm here today. Husband drove me to my Mamogram appointment due to the roads so I treated him to breakfast. Plan to spend the rest of my day wrapping CIJ ornaments and starting the ornaments for my son and cousin. Will listen to Christmas music and have some Christmas coffee.
Hope you Enjoy the day!

Happy First Rudy Day of 2023!

Just checked out to see what the deer were up to!
This may be my new go to moment of calm when my heart and soul need a break-
Which seems to be often these days...

Thank you for sharing!

Annie

The deer are not worrying about much but enjoying their feed. We all need a lesson from them.
