Well I was not planning on doing much for Rudi Day- still in holiday mode here- but puppy was unsettled last night, it is a long weekend here for Australia Day and there were lots of people about- going past our house to get to the beach at night etc... so.... I ordered a whole lot of stocking stuffers etc.. from ebay. All cheap and fun!

Awe, you all are such an inspiration for me to get my Christmas 2015 notebook fixed up really pretty. I watched A Christmas Story earlier this week. I've worked really hard today so I think I'm going to sit back and watch another Christmas movie and call it a day.

Today I wrote out my To Do List:

Print new forms
Create gift lists
Start master shopping list (Already have this started. I write down things as they come to mind)
Set up a budget (I'm debating if I will do the 26 week plan again)
Plan holiday menu (always good for me when I can get this done as early as possible)
Decide whether or not I will be making homemade gifts
Decide what goodies I want to bake (I really want to try something new)
Decide on what countdown to follow
Look for decorating ideas (Pinterest here I come)
Note/plan holiday activities
Update mailing addresses
...just to name a few

I have 10 months to get this list done.

Watched a few movies as well.

Couldn't get on the computer to wish everyone a happy Rudolph Day! I can't believe it's been a whole month since Christmas!
The kids were singing Christmas carols yesterday.....I don't know why. I didn't get too much done. I had planned on sorting through my Christmas stuff last night, but I went to settle my daughter in bed at 7:30 and the next thing I knew it was 10:00 PM, so I have to do my Rudy day activities today. For me, that always includes leafing through my Gooseberry Christmas books. AND...I see this year's Christmas book is already available for preorder on Amazon!! ./' It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..... ./'

It IS so wonderful….. that we CAN keep "the Christmas spirit" alive…. together! We have a lot of magic….. working together!

For each of us…. we "keep the magic alive"…. in our own ways. For me…. I love to entertain at Christmas. And… my home is so small…. that I can't do the big, open house parties…. that I would love to do!!! So…. I "do" Christmas entertaining…. during the year! THIS year…. my goal is…. to do one party a month! The January party… is the Super Bowl Party!

So… I am doing the cleaning, planning, decorating… for Super Bowl…. while thinking "Christmas" in my heart. Works for me.

Miss the first Rudy day for the year...it snuck up on me.
For February Rudy Day i would like to look through my notebooks and see what needs organising. I would also like to write a list of craft ideas, stocking ideas, and gift ideas. The year is going so quickly I would like to start on this ASAP
