I thought I would get this posted since it is CIJ all month.

I picked "A Christmas Carol". One of my favorite movies. I love the message, and the many versions of it that are out there.

I got the 1970 musical Scrooge with Albert Finney a few years back. They sometimes play that version on TCM during the holiday season. Catch it, it is very cute and the musical scenes are great. I have not yet been able to sit through the Kelsey Grammar musical though. I watch all the tv movie versions each year. I have a few of the other movies on DVD too.

Different Versions of "A Christmas Carol" to enjoy!

A Christmas Carol (Many versions)

Disney's A Christmas Carol (Jim Carey)
Mickey's Christmas Carol
The Muppet Christmas Carol
Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol
A Flinstones Christmas Carol (The Bedrock Bug!)

Scrooge (Albert Finney 1970 musical)
Scrooged (Bill Murray)

~Some TV Movies shown on the different channels - love them all!
A Carol Christmas (Tori Spelling)
A Diva Christmas Carol (Vanessa Williams)
Ebbie (Susan Lucci)
Ms. Scrooge (Cicely Tyson)
It's Christmas, Carol!
Karroll's Christmas

An American Christmas Carol - Henry Winkler
A Christmas Carol: The Musical - Kelsey Grammar

Oh, my! I just realized I'll be in Tennessee on the 25th. Maybe I can find a Christmas shop to look in while I'm there. I'll have to do the movie after I get home, I suppose.

Jumping in here. I think I would like to see the musical one you mentioned Sugarplum. I'm going to see if I can find it on amazon. Until it comes I will watch Christmas Carol the Movie. It's a 2-in-1 dvd which also has An All Dogs Christmas Carol.

The only one on the list I haven't seen is the Kelsey Grammar musical. A Christmas Carol is one of my favorites, but I can't pick a favorite from all those versions.

I do not have any of those versions, but instead of missing out on a movie I will watch one that I have recorded.
