I switched the order on my rooms because of the cold here. My first room is the downstairs bathroom and I'm kind of at a standstill. It's in the process of being remodelled and I have done everything I can do at this point. Now I need DH or a plumber to step in...lol. I did get it all cleared out though. I had turned into a closet over the past year. It does actually look like a bathroom again. I'm going to move on to the next room and come back to this if and when DH gets to it and I have water and something to clean and decorate in there.

Way to go on those porches girls!!

[ ] vacuum entry

[ ] mop entry

[ ] shake out entry mat

[ ] clean front door - so much dust from the estate being built!

Haven't done anything yesterday and won't today - too cold :bigsnow:

Tomorrow is upposed to be the warmest day of the week - a whopping 40 degrees, but at least no snow! I hope to catch up then.

Ok, here is my list for this week...
Clean door mat.
Clear any items that do not belong.
Sweep porch
Spray down porch, front of house and driveway.
Mow the grass.
Clean out planters.
Plan plantings.
New house numbers.
Trim and paint the fruit trees.
New door hanging.

Most of it probably will not get done untill Saturday but it is a start. I have some larger projects that I would like to do but that will have to wait untill school is out.

I don't have a porch so I'll take this time to focus more on the list part. I have all of my lists done for Christmas. I'm also planning for my birthday cookout which is in July and my second Harvest dinner party scheduled for October.

I kind of drifted away, but I'm back.....
Fortunately, I can still jump in on our first week. Can't do much outdoors, as things are covered with snow, with more expected tonight.....but I can do lists, etc....
I've noticed some changes and still need to do some exploring when I have more time!!!!

[ ] Front Door: Needs cleaning and then ... oil or something??? Looks dry.

Our weather has not cooperated with working on the front porch so I decided to work in the kitchen instead. I have been cleaning out cabinets, organizing food stuffs, and purging out of date items. I must have a penchant for spaghetti sauce and tomato soup. This reinforces the need for a grocery list and meal plans before I head out to market. The dated cans are forcing a few meal plans themselves, or I'll lose more items.
I have a pie safe and spool cabinet to go through and I'll be done with the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen at least.

The weather hasn't cooperated here either and the weekend is supposed to be really cold. I've been focusing on my living room instead of the front porch. I've decluttered the computer cabinet and hutch. I took down the curtains and will wash them this weekend hopefully. I cleaned the corn stove and lamps.
