Just ordered one for DD yesterday after casually checking to see their shipping times. They are cleaned out. Amazon said it the one I ordered will not ship til after 12/17. :-O
If this is on your list, you might want to get it ordered this week.
(Also I learned that Target got in a big tiff with former-buddy Amazon and is no longer carrying the Kindle. So you can't go down and look at it nor find it there at Christmas time, like you could last year. They went wall-to-wall Barnes & Noble.)
