Ok, Christmascreations, what's your Pea Soup Recipe?

I'm a big fan of split pea soup too but alas I'm the only one in my family who likes it so I rarely make it--just too much for one person to eat!

I also like to use bits of leftover ham in Augratin Potatoes (Or am I thinking of scalloped potatoes? I get them confused...but I do mean the kind with cheese.) Anyway, it makes a lovely main dish that the whole family loves.
