N Teacup / saucer for tea-reading
N round table with shawls on it
N Shawls

N Here's a funny aid to tell fortunes... I will print it out and put it on the fortune table! http://www.billybear4kids.com/holidays/halowen/CootieCatcher.html
N To make the crystal ball: Buy a round light fixture - got one at the used store - with a stand to put it on. Take an old bucket or pail fill with 1/2 full of water. Dribble string of paint - acrylic light blue, purple and gold - around surface of water. Carefully dip light bulb slowly and twirl around. Remove from water and let dry.
N palmistry poster

Oh and by the way it DOES NOT work for the crystal ball! I tried it. So it'll be the light fixture with a glowlight inside only.

Luludou may I suggest printing your lists and putting in a binder so that you don't lose them again. You put a lot of work into your bash I I hate to see all your hard work get lost again. (If you haven't thought of it already. Heeheehee)

I did print out some lists about 1 month ago (lucky I did it!) ... but there are some details missing... like the ideas my MHH friends gave me to add... a super name I had found for my spellbook and just don't remember.

Posted pics of my 'morgue' sign on my blog as well as pics of my spellbook (grimoire). Only the outside of the spellbook is done. Need to find potions and spells to put inside.

i love the plant ideas. I was going to make a sign about man eating or flesh eating plants and hang on my screened porch. Now, you have me wanting to do this to my plants, but I don't know if I will have time!!!! This is a great idea though. I have some body parts that I am planning to place in the plants for effect.

I have so much left to do.

I finished my 'haunted garden' yesterday. I put my horrifying houseplants in my bay-window, with black flowers and other silk plants from the dollar store and I put burlap on the window sill to hide the sill. I put some snakes and iguanas in there plus a pumpkin I made a few years back (fabric pumpkin). I added a blood IV (bought at the dollar store), and a watercan with a red-cross logo on. I then put some orange and purple halloween lights in the back of the scene. At the top I put some gauzy green fabric with holes in it and a spider coming down. Unfortunately my camera is at the repair shop so I can't take pictures for now. Here's hoping I can post some soon!

Boobash was last night oct. 30th. So much fun, but don't have pictures :( camera is in repair. Some of my friends took some pictures and should be giving me a few.

Started around 7:30. We expected the teens to show up with their parents... only a few did and they left to go somewhere else around 8:30... so lots of food leftover!

We had 3 clowns, 1 scarecrow (me), 1 cow (DH), 1 cleopatra, 1 julius Ceasar (DH also put on a JCaesar disguise when he got too hot in the cow), 1 devil, 1 chinaman, 1 wedding organizer, 1 priest, and a bridegroom and bride.

The wedding organizer, priest, bridegroom & bride came in at the same time (their 13yr-old DD put on some wedding music) and proceeded with the wedding! We even got some party favors with the names & date of couple on it! it was so funny! especially when it was time to take off the garter. The bride had put fuzzy hair in her pantyhose as if she were really hairy!! It was a hoot!

We had tons of food!! I told them to take plates back with them. It was potluck - everyone brought something + their own liquor.
- Veggies & dip
- Big pasta salad
- Dip with tortilla chips
- Chips
- Hors-d'oeuvres (all kinds)
- deviled eggs (me)
- Rolled ham & cheese sandwiches
- Bruchettas
- sausages wrapped in bacon
- sausage ball (me)
- cheeseball
- cold pepperoni slices with honey mustard (me)
- brownies
- rice krispie squares
- fudge (me)
- s'mores cake (me)
- pumpkin cake (me)

Everyone left around 1:15... teens all worked at 7:00 or 7:30 this morning.

Things I forgot: bring out big thrash bag for paper plates, music CD to burn with party music (someone brought his music so that was ok).
