Great article. I love pumpkins, too...in fact, I'm watching the last three in our garden with bated breath, hoping they turn orange in time to display for Thanksgiving. Then I'll paint them in metallic colors and use them for Christmas! That is, the ones that I don't cook and make pies, breads, cakes and muffins with, or put in the freezer for later!!

If you have any room at all, I suggest planting pumpkins next year. Ours at home is a tiny little plot, and we didn't even plant it until August, so they've been slow coming on, but my kids have totally enjoyed our garden. We had tomatoes, peppers, strawberries and of course my herbs first, then when they slowed down producing, we planted pumpkins. Even if you just have one plant, it's so awesome to watch those gourds grow!! :jack:
