Maintenance Week ---- ah, yes! Maintenance MUST go on. Maintenance -- routines -- that is what keeps our heads above water, week after week!
For me -- there is more to this than maintenance. I am still consolidating Christmas storage bins. I still have wrapping and mailing to do. However -- I am farther along than I have ever, ever been! The things I have left to do are things that have simply NOT BEEN DONE in years past. So -- I am quite calm and happy!
Even though -- I got an emergency call from dd asking me to take someone's place on a class trip tomorrow. I am happy to do it! I am no longer a "working mother" -- and thanks to MHH, I am quite far along on my christmas prep!
Dh wants to go on "his" shopping trip this afternoon.... and has invited me along. I think it will be fun! I will sit down with a magazine if/when I get tired!
