I just realized that Rudolph Day is the day after tomorrow. Yikes, where does the time go? Must find a copy of The Bishop's Wife - I don't think I've ever seen it. I'm going to write a blog post (celebrating my return to Rudolph Days) and find a simple craft from the zillion I have pinned on Pinterest to work on while I'm watching the movie.

What do you plan to do?

Have never seen the movie either... will try to see if it's available on Netflix.. however I'll try to do my RD on the weekend.

Today... I finished a handmade gift and it's already in it's box for Christmas... Just need to add a ribbon to it :) :)

Rudolph Day

Yes, it sure does sneak up fast!

The movie is cute. Cary Grant ... who could go wrong! I mean ... LOL

The movie is the original ... Whitney Houston did a remake called "The Preacher's Wife". We like that one, too.

We bought both a few years ago on Amazon Prime.

* start planning freezer meals (I make freezer meals so I do not have to cook for December)

Some of this may spill over to the weekend....lol

Where did you get the focus list? I noticed that's it is different from the one I found on the Magical Holiday Home blog.

Thanks!

Happy Rudolph Day to all!!! :)

I'm browsing Pinterest for decor ideas for the house. I've been slowly getting my thoughts together on how to decorate now that I've got the inventory done.

I'm not sure how I survived before Pinterest...

Thanks, Jampss, I now have several lists to look at to see what works best for me. My Rudy Day didn't quite work out as I planned - I spent longer at the dentist than intended although the visit was good. My dentist knows my anxiety and was super gentle.

Although I planned to get my circles cut out for the ornament I featured on my blog, I didn't get that far. I did, however, spend an enjoyable time watching The Bishop's Wife which I got from Amazon Instant Video. What a delightful movie - never saw it before and most definitely adding it to my collection. My goodness, Loretta Young was stunning....and Cary Grant AND David Niven, you can't go wrong there.

I also managed to get my 2013 and 2014 Christmas Card Albums finished so it was a good Rudolph Day all around.

So Rudy Day did not quite work out for me either. I ran out of magenta ink so I could not print off my binder pages. I did peruse my cookbooks but for some reason lost interest. I did however get The Bishops Wife at the library. I will be snuggling up on the couch in my comfy clothes with my last kuerig cup of peppermint mocha coffee. I have never seen the movie so I am psyched up for it.

I love The Bishop's Wife! One of my all time favorite Christmas movies! It never loses it's charm!

Loretta Young is one of my favorite actresses from the classic film era - she was also in another really good Christmas movie called Come To The Stable :)
