I wasn't sure where to put this - but an upcoming event in my life makes it a Holiday for me!

We are adopting an new Yorkshire Terrier on Sunday. He is one year old and I do not care for his current name. I would like ideas for a holiday sounding or Christmas sounding name.

I would be very happy naming him Twinkle, but you know DH isn't going to stand in the back yard and call "Here Twinkle, here Twinkle!" :rotflol: So the name can't be too cutesy.

I have been brainstorming- what is the Will Ferrell's character name in Elf? Buddy - DH also doesn't want the name to end in a Y or IE - "too many dogs have names like that".

Our dogs in the past have been Keanu (after Keanu Reeves) ::eek:rnament:
Tori - (after Tori Spelling - DH's idea :slap: )

and our current dog is Santana. He is a long haired chihuahua. We wanted a hispanic sounding name - but not one that was too cliched for a chihuahua, like Paco.

For anyone familiar with the Stephanie Plum books, I am trying to sneak in the name Ranger.
:haha: :haha: :haha:

We like unusual names. I like Christmasy or Holiday things. What are some good names????
