Heu.... we didn't do GPD in january yet... it's the 31st for this month and the 13th after that. Lucky you, you started early! congrats! :ghost:

I did mine on the 13th. I had decided in December I was going to do that which is why Gingerbug posted about it!!! It makes things MUCH easier!!!

I agree. The 13th is much better ... it's farther from Rudy day, it gives us more time and furthermore 13 is a "magic" number... boooo.... :boo:

Jackfrosty, remember last year I made the witches curtain from Martha Stewart? It is easy and cheap, doesn't take a lot of time either. It looks cool blowing in the breeze and everyone loved it that came by!

I made curtains for the kitchen (that's where the kids come in) last halloween too! 1st time and it was a success. I bought cheesecloth from the dollar store and hung it up. I ripped the bottom and added bugs everywhere. Spooky! the kids loved it! :ghost:

yes, since they were for outside, it didn't matter what the weather was, and they look even better the older they get, you know all wrinkly and stretched out. best of all they cost cents to make!

I think the cheesecloth thing would be cool inside too! may have to do that this year.

Forgot to add that you can give an "aged" look to the cheescloth curtains by spraying with strong tea (I ran out of time last year but I may do it this year).
