5/12- And Then There Were None- by Agatha Christy.
First Agatha Christy book I have ever read.
Lisa- I met Karen Kingsbury and have pictures with her. She actually had breakfast with my friends and me. My friend is a HUGE fan and organized it. Really cool!
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
The Good Neighbor by AJ BAnner
A Little Salty to Cut the Sweet by Sophie Hudson
The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah
Currently reading
He Chose the Nails: What God Did to Win your Heart by Max Lucado (for Bible study group)
The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach. Although this book is (c) 2004 and the charts and some other data is long out of date (and it really is directed at the young professionals, not retirees), it still gives some good guidance on financials. Found it among some books on the shelf when I was dusting and picked it up to see if it was worth donating, and I've kept on reading. Maybe it will help me get back on track
35. Thoron by Gunhild Haugnes - I’m enjoying this Nordic series. Thoron (a real person ) could have been the daughter of King Haakon Haakonson of Norway.
36. Wildfire by Anthony Melchiorri and James Smith - Book one of The New Frontier Series about rebuilding the western US after the EMP
37. The Secret of the Stone by Cao , v. 1 - a 5 volume class of Chinese literature written in the 1700’s. Takes a while to figure out who all the characters are - and there are many - but then it gets interesting. V 2 is on order
Even though Goodreads says I have read 11 books, I have read 12 this year.
Since last sharing I have read:
Christmas on My Mind by Janet Dailey (which is the one Goodreads doesn't acknowledge for my reading challenge)
The Guncle by Steven Rowley
Storm Front by Jim Butcher
12 Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss
Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb
A Little Pinprick by Paige Dearth
38. Driva by Gunhild Haugnes - I’m enjoying this Nordic series the Daughters of Freya
39. Luzie by Gunhild Haugnes - last of the series at this time - ending in the 1500's Norway
Playing catch up again!
29/36 Code Name Sapphire by Pam Jenoff
30/36 Liberation by Imogen Kealey
31/36 Sound of Light by Sarah Sundin
32/36 I'll Be Seeing You by Margaret Mayhew
40. The Yellow House ; a memoir by Sarah Broom - Coming of age in and around New Orleans both before and after hurricane Katrina. The overriding anchor is the yellow house, even when it no longer existed. I did not enjoy this book
41. Kissing Kosher by Jean Meltzer - a Jewish romance based in a bakery
42, 43. Books 2 and 3 of The New Frontier Series about rebuilding the western US after the EMP
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
The Good Neighbor by AJ BAnner
A Little Salty to Cut the Sweet by Sophie Hudson
The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah
Talk to Me by John Kenney
