Goal: 12 books for the year. Finish 1 book per month, at the very minimum.
1. The Winemaker's Wife by Kristin Harmel. Highly recommended, if you like historical fiction.
2. The Wedding Thief by Mary Simes. A fun and easy read.
3. The Berlin Girl by Mandy Robothom (did not finish it)
4. The Editor by Steven Rowley
5. The Diplomat's Wife by Pam Jenoff

28. Neferura by Malayna Evans - Ancient Egypt! Another one of my favorite periods of history. A fictionalized story of the daughter of Hatshepsut.

Oh neat! A year or so ago, I borrowed from my friend's shelf ... a book like that. Stories of how he grew up and his mamma and recipes from ... Dom DeLuise! It was sooooooooooo good. And since I watched old movies when young, I knew all the old "Stars" he would eat with and even had some of their recipes. :)

Finished my 12th book of the year last night. The Museum of Lost Quilts by Jennifer Chiaverini. I read her series of Elm Creek Quilts series years ago and this was a book to celebrate the the 25th year of Elm Creek.

I really enjoyed this book, it kept me captivated, and yes, the ending had me chuckling as well. I have liked all of her books that I have read so far.

Yes, Freida McFadden is one of my faves.
