Riding the rails home....

Well, we are heading home today and due to an unforseen problem, we are taking the train home rather than our original flight! I love riding the train. Sure, our trip will be over 24 hours rather than 5, but it's a bright summery day and we should have some nice scenery.

We also get to make a one hour stop in Montreal. I know train time is more of a guesstimate...so I'm really hoping we do have the full hour to spend there.

Enjoy your ride! I haven't been in over a decade-but there used to be a mall just upstairs from the station-Hope you have some time to enjoy such a beautiful city!

Oh, lucky you! I love riding the rails...my kids do too. We haven't actually taken a train trip, just excursion trains, but maybe someday!! Enjoy!!

We have to stop in Quebec City overnight when we drive up in a few weeks. Anything you would suggest seeing while we are there? (We will probably stay for 6-8 hours to look around before driving to our next stop.

You could go see the "Chutes Montmorency" , it's a waterfall all illuminated by night. Here's a link with good ideas...http://www.visitequebec.com/home/index.asp?cleLangue=2. Old Quebec is a very nice place to take a walk.
