I came across this article recently and realized that I have - to some extent - always practiced Seasonal Reading.

Curious to see if others do something similar? Do you read certain types of books at certain times of the year?

I never considered it to be seasonal reading but it makes sense. I do like to read a book about the seaside in the summer. For the fall, I'm so busy with holiday prep that I usually don't read. Winter tends to be an American history book. I don't tend to read in the spring because I'm busy with yard clean up.

I used to do lots of sappy quick-beach reads in the summer, while sitting aboard on the weekends. But not so much any more. Come Fall, I tend to browse through magazines and cookbooks, looking for good winter soup/stew recipes. December brings more holiday-themed reading, and I tend to take more time out in the evenings for reading and to wind down.
