BY CANADIAN JINGLES........

Okay, I had time and I was curious how I could change it up.

Books can be fiction or non-fiction. I don't think it matters. (The examples I have given aren't all books I've read so don't take them as recommendations to read. The writer in me won't let me give examples without listing author's surnames with them.)

1. A book with a first name in the title. Example: Anne of Green Gables (Montgomery)

2. A book with a day of the week in its title. Example: Tuesdays with Morrie (Albom).

3. A book with a number in its title: Example: Three Cups of Tea (Mortenson)

4. A book with a a holiday in its title. Example: Hating Valentines Day (Rushby)<-- (this is one I do want to track down. Supposed to be similar to A Christmas Carol, but with a Vday spin.)

5. A book with a room in its title. Example: The Summer Kitchen (Weinreb)

6. A book with a colour in its title: Example: True Blue (Baldacci)

Goodelf, I mostly just occasionally check my reading list (because I track all the books I read per year) and see what fits on the six list. I don't read much that is specifically for this challenge. At least, I haven't in the past.

In front of my computer
1. A book with a first name in the title. Recovering Charles (Jason E Wright)

2. A book with a day of the week in its title.

3. A book with a number in its title:

4. A book with a a holiday in its title. (Example: Hating Valentines Day) Have your example on order from my local library, should be here in a few days.Update, It's at the library today!

5. A book with a room in its title;

6. A book with a colour in its title: The Black Dagger Brotherhood, An Insider's Guide (JR Ward)

Just picked up these books from the library so I didn't do very good with matching the titles with the subject suggestions. I ordered these last week or so:
Beyond Seduction, Forget the rules [Emma Holly]--update, done, was ok but not great
Kiss of the Wolf [Morgan Hawke]
Ready [Lucy Monroe]
Bizarre Bible Stories [Dan Cooley]
The Wrecker [Clive Cussler and Justin Scott --which probably means Justin Scott wrote it with one of Cussler's ideas--I usually find I'm not happy because I liked the original authors style of writing]--update:dh grabbed it so I will wait until he is done

I was just reading through some threads looking for some book titles to read and ran across this thread. We are more than halfway through 2010 - how many people have accomplished this fun book list?

I've read 28 books this year; I'm trying to see if I can read 52 books in 52 weeks. I just updated mine here (see quote). I haven't been consciously picking books for these categories, but I'm halfway through. :)
