Lightned pumpkins and Halloween belong together - that's a fact

But very often these pumkins are lightned with a candle - this might be
dangerous. So I did some research in the Internet and found this:

Solar pumpkins...

They are safe and you can use them for several years...

Last year when I did a Halloween party for my daughter I used those battery operated lights where you press the centre to switch on and off. I think they are really meant for inside of cupboards etc where more light may be neede but there is no power. They workked really well, I've removed the batteries and put them away to use again next year.

I have pumpkins with batteries in it (small ones from the dollar store) and it works quite well too.... I've got to admit candles with kids around scare me a little.

They are cute, aren't they? Last Halloween I used the battery operated tea lights. I got them at Dollar Tree, 4 in a package for $1. They lasted all night, and in fact we're still using them. I used them at Christmas, as well.
