I ran across this recipe on the internet and thought, "I need to get the Soup/Casserole of the Week Club going again!" This recipe, Cheesy Baked S****s and Pasta looks very easy. I thought about adding: chopped ham, chicken, a can of tuna, or even some salmon!

Cheesy Baked S****s and Pasta
Serves: 4

Ingredients
3/4 pound medium pasta s****s
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
2 cups grated Cheddar
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
kosher salt and pepper
1 16-ounce package frozen broccoli florets

Directions
1. Heat broiler.
2. Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
3. Meanwhile, heat the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the flour and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Whisk in the milk and cook, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, 4 to 5 minutes.
4. Add 1 1/2 cups of the cheese and stir until melted. Stir in the nutmeg, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper.
5. Add the pasta and broccoli and toss to combine. Transfer to a broilerproof 8-inch square or another 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining 1⁄2 cup of cheese. Broil until golden, 3 to 4 minutes.

Enjoy!

Crud, I don't know why it's doing that asterik *** thing on that one word.

Think of the word Sea- and you know what the word in the recipe is supposed to be.

It's a filter for "bad" words. The word you were typing has one with those 4 letters.
S-E-A-S-H-E-L-L-S. Hopefully it will work this way. (Looks fine in my preview).

momof9- Soup/Casserole of the week is a way for us to share a recipe to try out some time that week.

Members of MHH have sent me recipes for a soup or casserole. And every Monday I post one of the recipes. Sometimes I will find a recipe on the internet and I'll share that one.

In the Spring/Summer we did Salad of the Week Club.

We kind of got off track with my recent health issue.

I'm always accepting recipes if anyone wants to PM me!

With the meat added, it'd be a full meal...just add a favorite bread. If hungry teens (or hubby) is in the pix, maybe a tossed salad? Filling & good. TFS.
