Taking turns entertaining....

My sister and I are going to take turns entertaining each other and our husbands for 2 days.

I am going to be the first to entertain my sister and her husband so I will need a few ideas if anyone can think of anything. They will be comming to my house on Monday night August 11. For dinner I will have quiche, salad, creme brulee and wine.

August 12, Tuesday, I will make waffles for breakfast and we will take them to Cabelas since it is a really neat place to look through and they have never been there.

For a late lunch we will go to an Italian Restaurant called Bravos.

From lunch we will be going to Mountaineer for live horse racing and we will pay for their motel for the night.

The next day is home with a picnic along the way.

Any other ideas???

What a lovely holiday you have planned - such wonderful venues. The only other suggestion I could offer would be something to sip or nosh in their room. Perhaps a bowl of fruit, a sweet (chocolates) or a savory (macademia nuts); something to have with a late night nip or cuppa. I usually place an electric tea kettle in my guest room, along with a water carafe, and a few nips.
