We have 2 young children that give each other a toy or game for Christmas. Instead of them exchanging on Christmas Day we let them exchange Christmas Eve morning. This gives them something to play with on Christmas Eve which allows us to get stuff done while they are occupied with their new gift.

That's a great idea.
Maybe the elves can bring a game that morning at our house. They like getting a Christmas eve gift not thrilled its always PJs. So this would be a nice change

My teens are too old now but this is a GREAT idea for younger children.

My kids are also way too old for this, but I wish I had known about it when they were younger it is a great idea.
