To-Do List for Week of Aug. 30-Sept. 5th

Can you believe August is already almost over? It's a double-edged sword for me. I'm glad it's going to be over and Fall and the holidays are one step closer, BUT that also means that DH will be leaving in about a month or so for another year away, only this time he'll be in Iraq.

Anyway, here's my list for this week:

[X] Soldier Show
[X] GYN appt.
[X] FRG Volunteer meeting
[X] Potluck item for meeting, cups, plates, silverware, drinks

[ ] Menu plan
[/] Sweep/Mop floors
[X] Laundry
[ ] Work on HGP Week 1
[ ] Get out fall stuff
[/] Work on stuff for briefing (too much stuff to list)

[X] Finish book
[X] Start new book
[X] School with DD
[ ] Read DD's library books with her

Oh. My. Gosh. I have just been over to the Week 1 - Holiday Grand Plan thread!!! People are working up a STORM!!!!!! For me..... not so much, I feel bad! I WANT to be surrounded with Christmas festivities........ do you think it would help if I got off the computer???????? What???????

Monday 8/30: House Blessing
Clear off front porch
Bring water to dying plants
Week 1 Lists for HGP
Write some Christmas Cards

Tuesday 8/31: go to swimming pool with dsil & dgkids

Wednesday 9/1: First Wednesday Women's Wine & Whine Night

Thursday 9/2: Buy fruits & vegetables

Friday 9/3: Labor Day Weekend Begins
Dinner with friends

Saturday 9/4: Deliver books & goodies to friend just home from operation

My stab at a To Do List for this week:

[ ] Deadhead, clean-up front flower beds
[ ] Pick up photos for new collage frames
[ ] Put photos in new collage frames
[ ] Work out at least twice!!!
[ ] Sort through totes of outdoor Halloween decorations/Make plans to decorate campsite
[ ] Get head start on Living Room HGP tasks!
