Good morning MHHers!

It's once again that time of the week when we all post our To-Do lists in hopes of accomplishing most or all of what's on them. Remember, even if you don't get it all done, just put whatever you didn't complete on top of next weeks list. Also remember to take a break once in a while and just enjoy the moment without worrying about what you have to do next. Those little breaks help us to recoup and get more done!

My classes start today so it's back to doing homework for me. My list for the week:

[X] WIC appt. to see if we qualify (Monday)
[X] Doc appt. (Monday)
[X] Order hitch
[X] Set up physical therapy appt.
[X] Call Belkin to fix router
[X] Call college to pay graduation fee
[X] Walmart run
[X] Homework for Educ. Psych
[X] Homework for Intro to Counseling and Psychotherapy
[X] Clean bathrooms
[X] Return library books
[ ] Clean out and put away pool (weather permitting)
[X] Big Surf on Friday (alternate plans if raining)
[X] Hitch installed in Columbia on Thursday
[X] Emergency ultrasound Wednesday

I think that's it for now, i'm sure i'll have more to add though.

Today it is dark and raining quite heavily so I will put off doing the laundry until later in the week. I think today I will do some baking and cleaning in the kitchen. My cupboards need to be organized and inventoried.
Later in the week I will be blueberry picking, hauling out the shed, and then a full day of errands and grocery shopping on Friday.

My bedroom and closet are the room this month.

[]Clean ceiling fan
[]Clean windows
[]Hang at least half of the clothes on my new huggable hangers

That should do it.
If we can do that and keep the kitchen picked up and the laundry done. I would say it's a productive week.

Our power went out this afternoon because of the storm, and I used this opportunity to organize my baking cupboard. I took things out and inventoried everything. I washed the shelf down and put in 3 varying height mini shelves. I have tall cupboards and have always had wasted space but now I can utilize this space. I bought tall "LOCKER SHELVES". They are designed for school lockers and they are taller than many kitchen mini shelves. Now those baking supplies are all within view. I can see just how many bottles of candy sprinkles I have and they are all within easy reach now too.

Tasha -- you have the right attitude. A "productive week" is what I should aim for. Why do I feel that I should accomplish 5 years worth of work this week, instead of wishing for something doable? I might just be setting myself up for failure if I try to accomplish 5 years worth of work this week. :frown:

Where does one get the locker shelves? I need something like that. You don't let the grass grow under your feet, do you? :haha:

Yea... I try to take advantage of those spurts of energy!

I bought the locker shelves at Staples but I also saw them available at Walmart. The ones I bought at Staples are very stable and sturdy. They are 11 inches square and 10 inches high. Mine are black but they had colors available too.

How are those lists coming? It's the last day of the week, time to step back and take inventory of how you did and then congratulate yourself on what you did accomplish and work on creating your list for the upcoming week. Remember to put whatever you didn't get finished on the top of the next weeks list!

We got more than my to-do list accomplished.

[ :-D ] Clean Windows
[ :-D ] Clean ceiling fan
[ :-D ] Switched entire closet over to new hangers
[ :-D ] Purged unwanted clothes

Next week hopefully my good work in the Master bedroom/Closet will continue.
We have decided to finish fixing (new flooring, paint, etc.) instead of adding on first. We are thinking of building a new house! I'm excited but very nervous.

Let's see...........
I did get most of my cupboards cleaned out and organized this week. I had not planned on doing my cupboard with my rubbermaid containers until much later, but I got a clogged kitchen sink and in order to get to the pipe, my dh had to clean out that cupboard. I had him drop all the plasticware on the livingroom floor and I sorted it all out. I have a big bag for the thrift shop, one for my son with plastic children's thermos bottles for dgd to use in the car, and some for the trashman. GOSH..I had 14 ice cube trays!! Not any more tho!
