Hey girls. I'm back. I have been away from the computer for about 2 weeks. I have missed coming to this site. I have to get caught up on everything. The 1st week I got caught up in reading the saga of books called TWLIGHT by Stephanie Myers. My teenager was reading them and she kept talking about this girl was in love with a vampire and that thie werewolf was in love with her....so I thought I better check out this book. I got wrapped up in the books. There are now 4 of them out there and a movie coming out in Nov. They are REALLY good books. So now I am finished reading them so I can get back to everyday living.

My house is not in that bad of shape because we had my 16yr DD a party here this weekend and everything was cleaned up for that. Now I just have to clean up from that and do my everyday things this week.

Here is my list:

( ::eek:rnament: ) Check email and come here
( ::eek:rnament: ) Make bed
I have gotten a slow start today because one of the kids I keep decide to lock himself in the bathroom. We live in an old house with OLD doors and we do not have any keys. It took a while to get him out.
( ::eek:rnament: ) Start laundry
( ::eek:rnament: ) Fix lunch and kids down for naptime.
( ::eek:rnament: ) Make kids beds (3 of them)
( ::eek:rnament: ) Pick up their rooms (3 of them)
( ::eek:rnament: ) Put up laundry
( ::eek:rnament: ) Iron some laundry
( ::eek:rnament: ) Pick up the kitchen
( ::eek:rnament: ) Pick up the livingroom
( ::eek:rnament: ) Lay something out for super--We had leftovers
() Work on a menu for this coming week.
( ::eek:rnament: ) Kids home from school and get them snack
( ::eek:rnament: ) Start supper Leftovers
() Eat at the table Did not happen with leftovers
() CLEAN THE KITCHEN AFTER SUPPER
() Get the kids to do their lunchboxes.
( ::eek:rnament: ) Kids homework
( ::eek:rnament: ) Kids baths
() Kids in the bed
() Me a bath and in bed

I didn't do all of my list last week. I'm hoping things turn around this week.

[][][]Laundry (this is just to catch up)
[]Get towels out of laundry room and into linen closet
[]Clean off black shelf thing and get rid of it
[]Start a yard sale pile, I'm thinking of tackling one

I know there is more but I can't think of it for some reason.

Today I made 5 small jars of blackberry/strawberry jam with the berries we picked last night. It's a bumper crop of wild blackberries this year and we picked a couple quarts last night after going for a walk. Having homemade jam on hand will make my holiday baskets for the postal lady and teachers, alot easier to fill!

Here's my list for this week:

( ) Clean and organize more cupboards
(X) Clean out shelves in my bedroom closet and make room for gifts to be stored there.
( ) Make more blackberry jam for Christmas baskets
( ) Inventory winter clothing for DS and see what we need to buy new this year.

How's everyone doing this week?

I had to cancel my therapy appt. yesterday because I had another sort of emergency appointment with the doctor on Tuesday as well as another ultrasound. I still have some homework left to do and I know the pools aren't going to get taken care of. I'm on a sort of partial bedrest. I'm supposed to take it as easy as possible for a while.

Oh - it's going to be so hard for you to stay in bed (or on the couch). You have such a busy life! But - resting is the MOST important thing now!!!!! We send love! :grouphug:

Mrs. Soup

You must follow doctor's orders. You have more than one person you are responsible for these days. Take care and all good and happy thoughts are coming your way. :grouphug:

The great thing about the Weekly To-Do Lists is -- you have a whole week. You might start off like gang busters .... and then fizzle out. And you still have accomplished a lot for the week.

For me, it is all about keeping a happy, positive attitude and dancing forward. (Somebody pointed out that in dancing, sometimes we go backwards and sometimes we go sideways, but we're always dancing!) :skate:

My Laundry room got done. The master bedroom didn't go so well. My lovely dogs decided to tear up the pillows and comforter. I've left the filling all over the floor because I don't want to deal with it. Not only that but they chewed a small hole in my new pillow. It depressing. I can't have anything nice because they destroy it.
