Good day! I guess it is the 6th today, not the 7th....oops!

What's cooking at your house today?

We're having Awesome Baked Pork Chops, Mashed Potatoes, and Green Beans. The recipe for the pork chops is on my blog.

I'll be baking Apricot Sheet Cookies tonight, too. That recipe is also available on my blog.

Happy Cooking!

Blessings,
Lisa

I'm going to make some kind of hearty soup and add a salad. Soup sounds really good to me this week since my toes have been frozen since last Friday.

It all sounds yummy..DH has a meeting, so DD and I are having hot dogs, mac and cheese, chips-this is like his least favorite meal, so it's what we have when it's just us girls..

momof9- How do you do the pan fried asparagas? Listed on the dinner thread from January 5, 2010

Dinner for me: I'm still trying to go through what I have on hand!
I'll probably do the small dinner my aunt and uncle made for me.
And maybe a little turkey breast.

I brought the chicken breasts to work for lunch for today and tomorrow.

I still have some leftover White Chicken Chili and cornbread from Monday so that's it for today. Easy. I could have that chili daily, it is so good.

Ahorsesoul- I want to try that chili out!

Thanks for the recipe! I can include it in the Soup/Casserole of the Week Club?

Annie ~ For the panfried asparagus I heat a little EVOO in a frying pan, saute a little minced garlic just for a second or two, drop in the cleaned asparagus, saute until desired doneness (we like ours pretty limp with the tops just starting to brown) take off the heat hit with a squeeze of lemon and eat with a big smile on your face because it is SO GOOD!

Tonight we are having regular lasagna and enchilasagna!
