Week 10: Cooking Spaces

I'm so happy. I have a new kitchen to work in. I really, really, really want to get some more batches of cookies made up this week.
Home Preparedness: Check list against supplies (batteries etc). Need extra pet food.
Kitchen -- This matches up with FlyLady this week. Hooray! (Need clear out of date items)
Recipes -- Confirm what I decided upon back in July.
Turkey -- Double-check size and best store to get it. My reg store jacked prices last year.
Discuss with DD and DS what cookies we are making this year. (Container sizes needed?)
Check dates on all baking supplies and yeast.
Pick up stain for fireplace cabinets DH just built.
Nail down a day on the calendar to paint kitchen cabinets.
Pick up trees from nursery (appt is Tuesday).
Schedule Flu Shots for sometime soon. (And check Cold/Flu supplies for winter)
Set doctor appts for my physical etc for Jan/Feb.

Take Holiday photo while maples are still bright red. (This afternoon?)
Christmas letter.
Place order for Holiday munchies for my Dad. (Hickory Farms, Figis or something).
Call and order curtain samples.
Pull the guest room together.
Plant trees before first frost.

This week is always a busy one for me. Lots of cleaning and organizing to be done.
My tasks for the week are:
clean and declutter all cupboards, drawers and kitchen shelves
organize holiday recipes
plan holiday baking

I finally got the kitchen shelves and cupboards cleaned and organized.
I put the kids new photos in frames and on the walls.
