Start a freezer inventory. In progress
Inventory the pantry. DONE
Give spices the sniff test. DONE
Review recipes and make a shopping list. In progress
Eat from the freezer and pantry this week. In progress
Stock up on seasonal staples. In progress
Stockpile freezer meals. In progress
Check out cooking equipment. Have everything I need
Plan potluck meals. No potluck meals on the agenda

Home Preparedness: Get out ladder and check Fire Alarm batteries.
Kitchen -- Purge Freezers.
Groceries - Cook what I got and inventory my holiday ingredients and spices in particular.
Garden - Check what herbs I don't have growing out there.
Recipes -- Print the grocery lists I have on my computer for Thanksgiving & Christmas.
Circulars this week -- Check these!!
Turkey -- Order it.
Check dates on all baking supplies and yeast.
Return paint supplies for kitchen cabinets - decided to stain them instead. Ugh!
Dig 4'x2' hole in front yard for tree I bought last week. (when it stops raining!)
Shop for gift package for Grampa.
Prepare for Holiday party that I thought had been moved another house. No - it's here!
Replace batteries in cooking thermometers.
Survive this week - filled with kids dentist appts and sports.

Need to catch up:
Take Holiday photo - Kids now need haircuts. Really?
Christmas letter.
Pull the guest room together (now this has to happen since I'm now having the party)
Plant trees before first frost.

Call and order curtain samples - Moved to January.

I got the fridge and pantry cleaned.

The freezer was defrosted and cleaned as well.

A lit bit behind on a few other tasks, but I will get to them this week.
