I'm looking pretty good at our house (other than the scrap room which turned into a scrap heap, lol).

Maintenance here this week with a few last minute wrapping. Like the idea of starting my Holiday journal... got tons of ideas but didn't do anything yet.

I got the last big cleaning job done today, so now it is just maintenance for here on in.

My plan for getting the wrapping done is to do an hour every night after dinner this week until it is done.

I also need to sit down and plan our Christmas Eve and Christmas menu and make a grocery list.

Finish writing cards and send them
Continue to wrap gifts
Work on Christmas Eve menu and shopping list
Finish baking cookies
Try to maintain the house
Send off teacher gifts with the children

Over here, once again -- it has SNOWED today, on the last day of school, closing the schools and screwing up my whole plan for the last minute stuff. Argh! Kids are thrilled though.

I'm done with most everything though so I'm not in a panic. Have to sit down and write the Holiday letter for the relatives this weekend. Not worrying about a photo.

Wrapping is near done except for a few things. House is in good shape. Fire is roaring in the woodstove. Ordering the roast beast today. I think I might actually get a lil "sit down and rest time this year!" Hope so!

I have my chore checklist for the next 4 days done. I want to have an entire housecleaning done by Tuesday.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day menus have been planned and the grocery list is made for our shopping trip tomorrow.

Ladies, you inspire me to keep going.

Cards have been sent. Teacher gifts were sent in. Most wrapping is done. I thought baking was done but we have a couple more parties we've been invited to attend so I think I'll make up cookie dough and freeze it until I need it.

House maintenance is in full swing and my children are not happy that I'm notifying them about things they left out.

Christmas Eve menu is written. I just need to go to the grocery store.

DD and I went to the grocery store and got what we need for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner. The last few fresh things will be picked up Tuesday.
