I love the idea of decorating the kitchen with "sweet" ideas, like gingerbread, candy canes, etc. I have a potholder set with gingerbread men. Using cookie cutters as ornaments on a little tree, etc.

The one thing I miss living in Florida is having a candy dish with Christmas ribbon/hard candy, gingerbread houses, etc. I don't leave any food out, especially sugar, for extended periods of time due to bugs. I put wrapped candy in my candy dish.

These are some beautiful ideas and I like they can be fabricated with other materials.

One of my favorite places to look at candy themed items is Sugar Pink Boutique

They have candy themed lights, embellishments and all kinds of other things. The colors and photos on the site are amazing.
